DM Development selected Edmonds + Lee Architects to design all of the interior spaces including the residential units, the common areas and entry lobby. In conjunction with BDE Architects, 815 Tennessee echoes the rich industrial history of the vibrant Dogpatch neighborhood. Originally the home of The Bowie Switch Company, the interior design built on the electrical engineering history of the previous building by using it as the theme behind many of the graphics, including unearthing old archives of the switch patents and prominently displaying them throughout the public areas.
By incorporating modern finishes to a mix of wood, steel, and contemporary lines, ELA has successfully delivered an innovative collection of luxurious residences in the one of the most interesting neighborhoods in San Francisco.
