What We're Listening to

As avid podcast listeners, we have discovered countless shows that have become a staple in our daily routines. However, there are three in particular that have captured our attention and kept us coming back for more. First on the list is "Pivot" hosted by Kara Swisher, which provides a fresh take on the latest happenings in the tech industry with a side of witty banter and insightful commentary. Then there's "How I Built This" with Guy Raz, a podcast that tells the stories of successful entrepreneurs and their journey to building their companies from the ground up, which is both inspiring and informative. Lastly, we have "99% Invisible" hosted by Roman Mars, a show which delves into the fascinating world of design and architecture, uncovering hidden stories and secrets that make up the world around us. Each of these podcasts has a unique appeal, but all share a common thread of providing thought-provoking content that keeps us engaged and entertained. From the latest developments in tech to the human stories behind the world's most successful businesses, these podcasts have something for everyone.

What We're Watching

As avid fans of the hit HBO series Succession, we are both ecstatic and bittersweet about the arrival of its fourth and final season. While we eagerly await to see how the Roy family saga will come to a close, we have also been captivated by the show's stunning costume design by Michelle Matland. Her impeccable attention to detail in creating each character's distinct wardrobe has not gone unnoticed, as we have been devouring the latest articles and columns on the subject in publications such as The New York Times, W, and Elle. We have been fascinated by how Matland's sartorial choices have not only added depth to the characters but have also propelled the narrative forward. It's a testament to how fashion and architecture, two seemingly disparate industries, can come together to create a powerful artistic statement that transcends beyond their respective realms. As we brace ourselves for the end of Succession, we can't help but marvel at how its fashion choices have become an integral part of its storytelling, leaving a lasting impression on us long after the series concludes.

What We're Drinking

As self-proclaimed tea enthusiasts, we have always appreciated the subtle nuances and comforting aroma of a freshly brewed cup of tea. For years, we searched high and low for the perfect teakettle to complement our daily ritual. Finally, after much trial and error, we stumbled upon the Fellow Electric Kettle, which has transformed our tea-making experience for the better. With its sleek and modern design, this kettle has become a staple both at home and work. We appreciate its efficient electric heating system, which allows us to boil water quickly and effortlessly, without the hassle of traditional gas stoves. As we join the movement towards electrification and more sustainable appliances, we are thrilled to be a part of this shift with our beloved Fellow teakettle. Whether we're enjoying a cozy afternoon at home or a busy day at work, our daily cup of tea has become all the more enjoyable thanks to this innovative and convenient kettle.

What We're Eating

During a recent dinner with friends, we were introduced to a dessert that left an unforgettable impression on our taste buds. The "Tom Cruise" cake, a delectable white chocolate coconut creation made by Doan's Bakery in Woodland Hills, was an instant hit with our group. Since trying it for the first time, we can't stop raving about its decadent flavors and dreamy texture. As we learned more about this infamous dessert, we discovered that it's not just a favorite amongst our friends but also among Hollywood's elite, including Tom Cruise himself. It's no wonder why he reportedly sends this cake to his nearest and dearest every year as a special treat. As we yearn for another bite of this heavenly dessert, we can't help but hope that we'll make it onto Tom's list next year, eagerly anticipating the day when we can indulge in this culinary masterpiece once again.

How We're Exercising

When it comes to Peloton classes, Robert is a dedicated Ally Love enthusiast who can't get enough of her dynamic teaching style, captivating entertainment, and killer eighties playlists. Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious, making every class a memorable and motivating experience. Meanwhile, Vivian has found her soulmates in Robin Arzon and Camila Ramon, whose workouts have inspired her to take her passion to the next level. In fact, she's been so inspired by their energy and spirit that she's contemplating learning Spanish to better understand and appreciate their classes. With such inspiring instructors leading the charge, it's no wonder why Robert and Vivian are hooked on Peloton and eager to push their limits with every ride.
