The Bristol

Situated in the San Francisco Bay and boasting views of the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Downtown San Francisco, the Bristol provides new residential housing units comprised of luxury for-sale hillside town homes and podium flats, and a clubhouse, all complemented and surrounded by parks and habitat spaces. Edmonds + Lee Architects provided interior architecture design services for the project. The Bristol was inspired by the local environment, both the stunning nature that surrounds us and the cultural vibrancy of the Bay Area. ELA transformed the deep restorative calm and lively civic life into warmly modernist interiors, carefully detailed with a harmonious palette of taupe and grey; marble, and silver travertine surfaces; and a variety of wood tones that work together to heighten the experience of this special site. Layered natural materials to create a feeling of sophisticated coziness and warmth, while also introducing depth and texture. The sleek interiors, purposefully neutral so as to invite each owner to bring their own style, work in perfect concert with Bristol’s sweeping views of the Bay's most iconic sights.
